Be aware ! Corona-virus phishing attacks and email scams, accounts can be hacked

Cyber criminals are becoming active on social media because of the corona virus. Incidents of hackers capturing tens of millions of data on social media have become public. Google says hackers are now sending more than 18 million fake emails to Gmail users about Corona.

According to Google, the pandemic of the corona virus is causing a flood of phishing attacks around the world. Phishing is a form of Internet fraud in which criminals lure users with personal information such as passwords and credit card details via email.

According to Google, it is blocking 100 million such phishing emails every day.

Criminals send various types of emails to Gmail users. Some emails are sent in the name of organizations such as the World Health Organization and are encouraged to download software or solicit donations. Cybercriminals have been trying to take advantage of the name of a government organization for some time now.

Google claims that 99.9 percent of the emails sent for fraudulent purposes are blocked by artificial intelligence technology.
